There's nothing wrong with it other than it's a bit plain looking. It still is recognizable as the Cadillac logo.
It's just been modernized and updated. Maybe my taste is all in my mouth but I like it.

I've never liked the simplistic version of their logo that they've used over the last little while,  but I don't think of this new one as being too different.

They have always changed the crest every year. Always got smaller and then it had to become more contemporary.

This one looks about right and fine to me. Car looks very slick though , V8 engine is back too. Want to run with big dogs .....

They say the wreath was introduced in 1980? It was originally used in 1964 for the Fleetwood line of cars, while the "lesser" Cadillacs retained the V.

The wreath remained long after the last Fleetwood was built, and maybe should be retired since no car they build is the ancestor of what the Fleetwood is. But perhaps this new line will be in character with the traditional Fleetwoods. Just sans the wreath.

Yes it is, we're using it for the new Cadillac ROTY-A but with a little profile on the top.

Can't say that I'm a fan for the new Cadillac ROTY-A design, the classic is hands-down the way to go. You know what they say, if it ain't broke don't....

Well, the board of directors ( me ) decided it was time for a change, the last original design plaque is for a special person so it was time to break the mold, geez we had a ten year run with that styling. The new design will grow on you Rene, just roll with it big guy. I'm waiting for The Johnny to replenish my stash of jewelry so we'll be using the old time jewelry too, whatever I have to work with, a little blend of the old with the new. Better watch your back, we're coming to get you soon, I owe you one. I'm far away here in Maine so I don't have to worry about getting an ass whuppin' from you .......... LOL

You ain't been around much lately Rene, we all get busy with this and that but we have a good little group of Cadillac Rednecks here. Own a Cadillac, can you turn wrenches and drink beer ? C'mon down and join CISO, we'll break your balls and get you one of them there Cadillac ROTY-A's if you are worthy. This is a Cadillac car club, it ain't no social club for sissies. Its a team effort here, share your knowledge and your projects Cadillac or otherwise, it all gas, oil, wrenches, a few gaskets and some busted knuckles. ( and a few beers ).

I spilled the beans, just try to act surprised when they get you, Gareth didn't have a clue and his video is the benchmark, we'll never top that one.  I'll get some new ROTY-A's done for next year.
