Last week I finally broke down and joined Facebook.
I'm not a fan of social networks, but after a lot of thought I realized that we were missing out as a club.
I can see this being an important tool in making our club grow.
Check us out and let me know what you think.

I'm no fan of social networks either, but this was a good idea. It seems most everyone is on Facebook these days, so it's pretty much just moving with the times.

I had to sign up to see the page, but I used an alias with no pictures, and it will stay that way. Friend requests will be ignored.

It looks really good, and I hope it will attract some new members.

To try and increase traffic on our Facebook page, I have decided to do a Cadillac of the month.
Want your car featured? send me pics and a story about the car. Your first name only will be used.
I will also cross post to this forum.

I would like to post some of my real nice photos of Cadillac's but I can't. If you let me post them & you don't approve of them you can always delete them just as quickly.

Problem is that only administrators can do that.
If you send the pics to my e-mail addy I'd be happy to post them.
I am also looking to feature a Cadillac of the month.

You can set-up the FB page so any user's can post pic’s & comments & addmin’s can then mod as they see fit. Here are some examples of some of my FB pages. Having a more open & user friendly FB page will increase its traffic usage.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pipes-Estate-Vintage/145195035632696

BTW I do manage both these page's.

Okay that's great.  I'm a spelling heckler jerk so change the title to we're or we are.

You can beat me with a breaker bar or a tire iron now and delete my comments here.

I'm a stickler for spelling and I feel like I look ignorant if I post and misspell words.  Long past bothering people that misspell in a thread but the subject title I can't stand.

Not trying to be antagonistic here believe me.

I'm Kind of like that myself. I watch my spelling and punctuation for mistakes and I edit everything I write but
I can still make errors along the way.
If you are in a hurry to write something and you don't edit your content, mistakes will abound. If you use spell
check after writing you can catch those nasty, annoying errors and correct them before sending your e-mail.

Just so long as you didn't get your knickers in a twist or your panties in a wad. If so I apologize.

I'll never comment about anyone's spelling ever again.

Our Facebook page did very well last week. Our total weekly reach is up 6,777.4 %
I feel that I'm in for a disappointment next week as that would be a result of the ad campaign I posted for our show. But still, that's a lot more people that know we're here now.
