Any idea if the CRV driver was texting?

Are there any signs the left-rear bumper shock was fully compressed recently?  Any photos of the left quarter damage?  Just curious if a failure of the energy absorber might have resulted in more structural damage on this side.

My Fleetwood had better luck. Even with that exhaust leak, I decided to run her up to the cabin. It's been awhile since she's had a run. She ran utterly wonderful. And I filled her up with the good Shell gas when in Goderich.

Coming back into town, outside temp 32C. AC pumping out some nice cold air.

I told the cop that he was obviously distracted if he didn't notice the red light and stopped cars in front of him. He said he couldn't prove anything and he would be charged with following too close and if he tried to fight it he would add a careless driving charge on top of it.
The frame on the left side is in good shape. It was the bumper that caught the back of the quarter panel that buckled it.

Im taking my Fleetwood to the shop on Tuesday for an estimate. My Insurance includes a rental car, they called yesterday and said they had an ATS for me while mine is in the shop. Looks like I'm going to get a bit of fun out of this.

An Escalade would be a closer match!  Maybe they'll upgrade you if you smack your head getting into the ATS and start yelling.  Smiley

Have some fun with it! When Fleetwood was hit, they gave me a Grand Am, then a Taurus. When the '86 Fleetwood was in, they gave me a Taurus. Those Taurii (?) were a pile of junk.

I told them that I wanted something luxurious because I drive a Cadillac. Last time they gave me a PT Loser.

I was at Costco yesterday so I decided to go into the tire department and have a look as I need to put new tires on the Concours.
I got quotes on 2 brands.
For BFG Advantage sport, $677.05. $50 discount.
And Michelin Defender , 713.21. $ 70 discount.
Prices include installation, ballancing and taxes.
Seems like a pretty good price for the Michelins.

For the extra $40, I'd go with the Michelins.

Michelins for sure. We had BFG Defenders on one of our Sebrings (we've owned 3), they were good tires but
the Michelins on the '10 Sebring lasted a lot longer (mileage wise) than the BFG's.

I like the Michelins on the wagon way better than the BFGs. The Michelins are much smoother.

I've been doing some reading comparing the two.
The BFG's are a better performance tire on dry pavement but reviews mostly say they are loud and wear out much faster.
The Michelens are a better all season tire. I think I've made my choice.

I washed, clay barred and waxed DCC to get her ready for winter.  I think she's more ready than I am
