Yeah, I usually suffered some injury from doing them.

I put a can of refidgerent in the Fleetwood but it was still warm. On the highway it was cold so yesterday I unplugged the sensor at the waterpump. The primary fan came on but the secondary is dead.
I ordered one from Rock Auto this morning. $33 it should be here by Friday.

If it isn't one thing then it's something else. My car's been running OK since the new manifold went on. reasonably quiet and all but 3 other things
have showed their ugly heads to give me more grief. The engine sounds like there's a miss somewhere, it sputters while it's running and gets worse
on acceleration. There's a bit of exhaust noise at the back of the car so I think the muffler is done. It's been on there for the past ten years.
When I got my car there was 44,000 miles on the odometer and now it's ready to turn over to 70,000. The other thing is the driver's door window
came off it's track. A few years ago I installed a new window motor. I have to take the door panel off to check it out. Fortunately it's in the up position
so rain can't get in.
They say that bad things come in threes so I guess that means I'll never have any more problems with my car ? Don't hold your breath Ron.

Yes, I thought it may be an airflow issue.

It's a reasonably simple diagnosis to find a misfire.

The muffler is a maintenance issue, no biggie. maybe you can install a stainless muffler and tail pipe? Then it's there for good.

A window coming off the track can be a bit frustrating though. Frameless windows always have their particular issues. A million adjustments, it takes time to get them right.

I finally got the top recoloured. It looks OK now but not great. The colour kind of has a gold hue to it even though it came from the same
mix from the last time I did it. I used up what I had and I need more silver dye but they no longer make solvent based colours and I can't
find anybody locally that is still using or selling them. I don't do that much vinyl repair anymore so switching over to a water based colour
system would be extremely expensive to do. Without the silver I can't mix up any more metallic colours and silver is the predominate colour
in my roof mix.
I tried to get the manufacturer, SEM Products, to mix up a quart of the water based colour I need but they wanted almost $200 for it so
I didn't bother. I'm going to have just keep looking for a supplier who still has some solvent colours in stock.

Tony found the source of that miss in the engine. I was the wire for the front driver side sparkplug. He just clamped on a bit tighter
and the A/C was topped off as well today so that's good now too.

Added a little something to my 93 Eldo, I know its not original but it seems to fit just right with the CADILLAC block lettering.  Grin

The "Cadillac" emblem fell off. So last night I had to sit in my garage and admire my workmanship.

Today we went to our first car show in over a year. In it's 7th year, it's put on by a local church and it attracts about 100 cars every year.
If we preregister we get a free breakfast and lunch. It's a great bunch of car owners that show up.
I met a fella there today. Lloyd Kemp is from Paris Ontario and says he has owned about 23 Cadillacs of various models over his lifetime
which I estimate is around 80 years.
Today he brought a white on white '80 Eldorado Biarritz with a continental kit and sunroof, a really nice car.
I told him about our club and encouraged him to join. He isn't too familiar with this model Cadillac so I told that he will get lots of info
on whatever ails his car from us.

Drove it
Did a Daddy-Daughter day with my 7-year-old. We went to dinner and had dessert down at the lake. I told her to pick the car we took and she picked Chester.

I finally fixed that annoying exhaust leak on Joan yesterday. 2 broken exhaust manifold bolts..... Not a nice job.

I've got a muffler leak. I couldn't hear it because of that manifold leak. I got 10 years out of that muffler so I can't complain about it.
It's hardly noticeable right now and I haven't used the car so I'm just going let go for the summer and replace it in the fall.

Ron, I have a GM original muffler that I got from Mike, it came off a 84 Seville so it should fit your Eldo. it's not new but solid without holes or rust. You can have it for free. I'm coming to Toronto in August & I'll be staying for about 3 months, I'll bring it down then.
