It sort of reminds me of the Thunderbird retro car , Ford would have been better off if they just came out with a new contemporary T Bird but there's no profit in low volume , they make all their money with the F series. Their cars are not well received , they have too many mechanical issues. I hear they are having problems with their eco boost engines too.
