For those unaware, a fellow member of this and a few other boards, John Washburn, has passed away from complications during lung surgery.

I heard this last week.
I didn't know him but am sorry to hear of his passing.
He was a hardcore enthusiast.

Some people are like a Slinky. Not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs.

You don't get to know many people like The Johnny in your lifetime , he was quite the Cadillac aficionado, kept his cars stock and to mechanical perfection. Somehow we hooked up on my silly ROTY-A's , he had a friend that would strip the jewelry off the junkyard Cadillac's and eventually I wiped out his huge stash. The Johnny had three awards and it was great I made him two more last June for his Cadillac buddies and they all busted a gut. Johnny was collecting the Sun machines when the garages were tossing them and buying the new machines. He kept busy right to the end working on his cars , always some type of repair / restoration project. I will miss him greatly.
