I am sorry to announce Jim Mowatt passed away Tuesday July 10. Jim became ill while in the US last winter, but he never fully disclosed to me what illness he had. But he was on the mend, and seemed to be in good shape when I saw him last in May.

He was a great guy, and he sure loved his Cadillacs. I'll surely miss him.

I also saw him in May. He seemed to be in fine shape.
He was looking forward to attending our show this year. I wonder if I should make an announcement at the show?
Jim was a fun guy to be around. I will miss his sense of humor.

Yes, he was fun to be around. He loved to come by for a drink or two. I bought a bottle of whiskey just so I would have some when he dropped by. Yes, I think we should make an announcement at the show.

I was also thinking maybe we should send some flowers or a donation in the name of the club. But I know little about a service.

Salute to Jim Mowatt and his fine character, I never met him but I'm sure he was a fine gentleman. I bet Mike enjoyed pouring a few shots of whiskey for him. Gentlemen drink whiskey and Redneck's like us drink beer.
