The Hamilton Spectator newspaper has a weekly auto section every Friday called WHEELS.CA.
This week there was an article about Cadillac possibly dropping some models and adding new
ones. The ATS, midsize CTS and the large XTS sedans may be dropped leaving only the CT6 and
an all new CT5 as sole models with trunk lids. The departing vehicles will be replaced with 3 new
tall wagons labeled from smallest to largest XT2, XT3 and XT4. They also said that Cadillac is close
to rolling out a new XT6 seven passenger model that would fit between the 5 passenger XT5 and
the big Escalade. It sounds like all this was brought on by the popularity of the SUV.
It should be interesting to see what actually transpires.
