I couldn't get a room at the Travelodge. That was a month ago, I booked a King Suite at London Hotel and Suites

Strange, I called and they had rooms. Then she told me the price and I laughed and went and booked at getaroom. I have my confirmation.

I called the Travelodge as well. Apparently they are doing renos there and all they had left was a suite so I booked at the Super 8.
I stayed there last year and it was OK.  $89 with tax.
I talked with Steve today and he assured me that my car will be ready for Fleetwood. The fender holes have been drilled for the spear
and the car is going to primer tomorrow.  Looking good !

That's good news!

We'll have to see if I can make the show.  We're putting in an offer on a house today that would require us to have a June 5th closing date, so we'd be in the midst of packing if the deal goes through.

I'm at London Suites as well. Same idea as Gareth. It's the start of our holidays and wanted something nice. they treated us well when we stayed there three years ago. No others have been able to compare. Super 8 for me was a disappointment. The coffee maker did not work, and then the shower did not work. I told the receptionist and got a so-so reaction from her.

Well I do hope the house deal goes well for you Jon. But we'll miss you at the show if you can't make it.

So, let me see whop will be there.

So five, possibly six? Who else is planning to attend?

I'm going to call Steve in the next little while. I was hoping for a solid 10 if we could.

The Super 8, where I stayed last year was OK. I certainly wouldn't give it any awards but it served the purpose for me. Because of my car possibly not being
ready I let it go too long too before finally deciding to go, so I got what I got. As long as it's clean and the shower works I'm happy, however, if Pam were with me
then we would probably look elsewhere. My room last year had a hot tub that didn't work and few other things weren't up snuff either but it was just for 1 night.

As far as getting more members to Fleetwood I would suggest seeing if "Grampa" is going. He is a local Hamilton member and he has that gorgeous black Fleetwood
to show off and I will call Ray Barr to see if he is going as well. Tony wants to go but he says none of his cars are ready for the road but I will work on him.

Wow. 3 cars! Cool. I was hoping to tell Steve 10 cars. But then we always have those that come along for the ride too. So maybe I should put it to between 10 and 15?

Cool. A big display of Cadillacs would be really nice.

I spoke with Ray Barr this afternoon about Fleetwood. Ray has the red '78 CDV/white top who was at our last meeting.
He said he was probably going to go but it would more than likely be with the other club he belongs to the Riff Raff Cruisers of Hamilton. Ray has been
a member of that club for a long time and is more comfortable around them than he is with us, partly because he doesn't use his computer that much
and his other club is in Hamilton. Also because I am the only CISO member he knows.
I sent Grampa an email but haven't heard back from him and Tony wants to go but says none of cars are road ready yet this year so it's iffy for him.
