I just read another article about Super Cruise in WHEELS.CA. I missed what Gareth had posted back in October.
What an amazing piece of automotive technology, especially the steering wheel mounted infra-red camera that
keeps an eye on the driver's face. He is warned by the car to pay attention if he looks away for 10 seconds or
or more and the car will slow down and stop if there is no response from the driver after a warning. It will
that the driver is somehow incapacitated and it will notify On Star for help.
We can only hope that one day all cars will have that technology.
